Shahi tukda, as the name says, is a royal treat to taste buds at anytime. This shahi tukra with condensed milk recipe also uses grated paneer to give it a rich and creamy texture. The simple and easy to prepare dessert cum sweet has nice flavor of saffron and cardamom and it tastes delicious either warm or chilled.
It is absolutely delicious and all-time favorite for all of us. It is particularly prepared during the festive month of Ramadan and on Eid. The recipe uses bread,milk, and dry fruits. This dish has its roots in Mughlai cuisine. This is special occasion dessert dish.

Ingredients for Shahi tukda:
15 pellets of Sugar Free NATURA
1 Cup Water
Saffron
Bread Slices
Ghee
1/2 ltr. milk
Cardamom Powder
Cashewnut
Raisin
Chopped Almonds
Chopped Pistachio

Step 1:
Cut the bread slices in the shapes of your choice. Here I have them in circles.


Step 2:
Heat a flat pan add some ghee and fry the bread slices till they are crispy and toasted well.


Step 3:
Now lets prepare the sweet syrup . Boil one cup of water and add 10 pellets of SUGAR FREE NATURA in it. Let it melt well. Let it boil for a while also add saffron strands. Let it convert into syrup. Boil the syrup for about 5-7 minutes and then cool it down.

Step 4:
Now it’s time to make rabdi . Boil 1/2 ltr. of milk and keep stirring it until it is reduced to half its quantity to make the rabdi. Once the milk is reduced to half of its quantity, add 5 pellets of SUGAR FREE NATURA again, reduce the flame and then add some cardamom powder to it and the rabdi is ready.


Step 5:
Now soak the toasted bread slices in the cooled NATURA syrup for about 4-5 minutes.

Step 6:
Now place the soaked bread slices on a serving dish and then pour the prepared rabdi over it.

Step 7:
Garnish the served dish with chopped almonds, cashewnuts, pistachio, and some raisins.
